Lord King of Bridgwater recently hosted a reception at the House of Commons on behalf of the EIA to put forward the wider implications of government support of the events industry both for the exchequer and for UK plc. James Latham was there to capture the mood of the evening, understand the complexities of an un-level playing field and the opportunities that are lost to joined-up-thinking overseas.
