The East Midlands Conference Centre is a conference and banqueting venue on the University of Nottingham’s University Park campus, run by Nottingham Venues, with the Orchard Hotel next door.
What the venue publishes
Its factsheet lists 16 meeting and training rooms. The largest space is the Banqueting Suite, at 850 theatre style, 360 cabaret or 460 for dinner, which divides into Halls A and B of 400 theatre style each. The Conference Theatre has 441 seats, and four Conference Suites take 60 to 90 theatre style. The venue gives its exhibition capacity as 50 stands and award dinners for up to 588.
It is about a 10-minute drive from junction 25 of the M1, with free on-site parking and electric vehicle charging, and the University Boulevard tram stop is a 10-minute walk away. The venue says it was named Business Events Venue of the Year at the Nottinghamshire Tourism Awards 2026.
