Commercial terms

These terms explain what Events Review offers, what is free, what Premium includes and how listings are handled. Last updated 20 October 2026.

Who you are dealing with

Events Review is a trading name of Watts Digital Consulting Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 14574775. Registered office: #3042 275 New North Road, London, N1 7AA. VAT number 454187577. You can reach us through our contact form.

What is free

Reading Events Review is free. So is every part of the directory that is currently available: our venue and agency profiles, submitting a venue or agency for consideration, claiming a profile you are entitled to manage, and asking for a correction or removal. You need a free account to submit or claim a listing. You do not need an account, or to pay anything, to request a correction or removal.

Premium and extras

Owners of a claimed listing can buy Premium for that listing, paid annually, and two one-off extras: Fast-track review and a Spotlight article. While a limited-time offer runs (its end date is shown on the pricing page), the first year of Premium is half the normal price, and it then renews at the normal price. What Premium and each extra include, and their prices, are shown on our pricing page and again at checkout before you pay. All prices include VAT at 20%. The seller is Watts Digital Consulting Ltd (VAT number 454187577). Payments are taken securely by Stripe, and we email you a receipt showing the VAT when you pay; your orders are also kept in your account.

Premium renews every year on the date you first paid, and the card you used is charged automatically at each renewal until you cancel. We email a reminder before each renewal. Your renewal price stays the same unless we give you at least 30 days' notice by email of a change, and you can cancel before a new price applies.

Fast-track review and Spotlight articles are one-off payments and do not renew. If a renewal payment fails, the paid benefits pause until the payment is made, and we email you a link to pay.

Premium applies to one listing, and only while that listing is published and you are its verified owner. Premium listings carry a Featured label, are shown above other listings in directory lists, as explained in How listings are ordered. Premium does not guarantee traffic, enquiries or bookings.

Editorial independence

Payment never buys coverage, a favourable verdict, or a place in an editorial assessment or ranking. Premium changes the order of directory lists and adds profile features, and Premium listings carry a Featured label. Our editorial method sets out how sources, assessments and corrections are handled.

How listings are compiled and moderated

Profiles are compiled from information that venues and agencies publish themselves, with the source and the date we checked it shown on each profile. Inclusion is not an endorsement or a recommendation to enter a contract. We review every submission, claim and owner edit before it is published, and we may decline or remove a listing that is inaccurate, misleading or outside our coverage of UK business events.

To claim a profile you must show that you represent the organisation. An administrator checks the evidence against an independent source, such as the organisation's own website, before approving a claim. Approval sends a single-use link to the email address on your account. See Claim a listing.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. We may suspend an account used to make false claims, impersonate an organisation or misuse the site. You can ask us to close your account through the contact form.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel Premium at any time in your account under Subscriptions, or by asking us through our contact form. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your paid benefits continue until the end of the period you have already paid for, and the listing then returns to a free listing. You keep your claimed listing either way.

We do not refund part of a period after you cancel, except as set out here or where the law requires it. If you buy as a consumer rather than for your business, you may cancel within 14 days of paying; because Premium starts as soon as you pay, we refund what you paid less an amount for the days it was active. If we end Premium for a reason that is not your fault, such as closing the directory, we refund the unused part of the period. If a payment is refunded or disputed, the paid benefits stop. We may end Premium without a refund if the account is used to make false claims or breaks these terms. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under UK consumer law.

Using the information

Our reporting, analysis and profiles are researched to help with planning, but venue capacities, services and terms change. Confirm current details with the venue, agency or organiser before you rely on them for a booking. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

Privacy

How we handle personal information is explained in our privacy notice.
