Weston Park Museum, in Weston Park, Sheffield, is operated by Sheffield Museums and has welcomed visitors since 1875.
Event spaces and location
Events take place among the exhibits in two galleries. Picturing Sheffield is a Victorian-themed gallery whose floor-to-ceiling displays present artists’ views of the city spanning 250 years. Sheffield Stories chronicles people’s lives in the city through objects, photographs, archive footage and personal recollections.
The museum is close to the University of Sheffield and hospitals, and is served by public transport, with parking at a nearby Q Park. The city centre, with its hotels, bars and restaurants, is about 15 minutes away. Sheffield Museums’ Hospitality team handles enquiries and show-arounds for corporate events and conferences, weddings and ceremonies.
