The Grand, York is a five-star hotel in a building constructed in 1906 as the headquarters of the North Eastern Railway. It offers meeting and event spaces just steps from York Minster.
Conference and meeting spaces
Its meeting and event spaces span six suites, with options from large conferences to smaller meetings. They include The Grand Boardroom, the White Rose Lounge and The Cookery School, which it lists as a setting for events, conferences and team building days. A dedicated Events team supports each booking.
The building was designed by William Bell and Horace Field and restored in 2010. Event options include private dining at Legacy, a cocktail masterclass, wine tasting and afternoon tea in the White Rose Lounge, which it lists for groups of 10 to 35 covers.
