York Conferences and Events is the University of York’s events service, offering access to over 200 venues across the university campus and in York city centre.
Conference and meeting spaces
It lists venues for conferences, exhibitions, dinners, meetings, training days and weddings. The Guildhall York, in the city centre, has a Main Hall used for exhibitions or banquets, a main plenary room and a number of boardroom spaces. It also holds weddings in the Main Hall.
Central Hall on Campus West is a tiered auditorium that can hold up to 1190 delegates. The Ron Cooke Hub on Campus East has a tiered lecture theatre for up to 230 delegates, plus lakeside pods. The team says it has over 50 years of experience in the conference and events industry and aims to respond to enquiries within one working day.
