Robinson College is a University of Cambridge college on Grange Road, about ten minutes’ walk from the city centre. Founded in 1981, one of the newest Cambridge colleges, it was planned with conferences in mind and has hosted residential and non-residential events since it opened.

Conference and meeting spaces

The Auditorium is a raked-floor theatre seating up to 240 (270 with a reduced stage), with its own lounge, foyer and organiser’s office. The Umney Theatre seats 120 in a raked layout, again with a lounge and foyer alongside. In the Crausaz Wordsworth Building, the flat-floored Plenary Room takes up to 125 seated or 170 standing, and the oak-panelled Dining Hall seats 270 or takes 400 standing. Smaller rooms include the Garden Room (50), the Linnett Room (40) and the Seminar Room (16 boardroom), with a further 14 small meeting rooms available in vacations.

Accommodation

The college has 274 bedrooms for up to 280 residents: 160 single en-suite rooms, 100 single rooms sharing bathrooms in small suites, 10 twin en-suite and 4 double en-suite rooms. The accommodation holds a 4 star Campus Visit England rating.
