You can hand one London team the whole job, from the creative concept and stage build to delegate registration, hotels and transport, rather than splitting it between a production house and a conference organiser. Principal. Global Events says it has delivered 2,300 events for 350 clients, works on live, hybrid and virtual formats, and runs offices in London and Austin, Texas. It is the trading name of Principal Promotions Limited, a conference-organising company incorporated in 1994, and it also trades as Principal. London DMC.

Services

  • Event management: conferences and meetings, exhibitions, gala and award ceremonies, incentive and recognition events, product launches, roadshows, parties and themed events
  • Event production: branding and creative design, projection mapping, set design and staging, stage management, content creation, AV, lighting and technical production
  • Digital: virtual events, hybrid events, live streaming, event websites, event apps and gamification, animation and creative graphics

  • Delegate management: web registration platforms, payment integration, badges and lanyards, delegate logistics, e-communication, onsite registration, real-time tracking, staffing, feedback and analytics
  • Event design and styling: concept development, entertainment, creative design, floral and styling, theming and décor, staging and furniture, themed catering, interactive installations

You get production, design and logistics under one contract, which cuts the number of suppliers you have to brief and manage. The agency groups its work into six services and lists the functions inside each.

  • Event management covers conferences and meetings, exhibitions, gala and award ceremonies, incentive and recognition trips, product launches, roadshows and themed parties.
  • Event production covers branding and creative design, projection mapping, set design and staging, stage management, content creation, and AV, lighting and technical production. The agency says it handles technical specifications, floor plans and visualisation as well as stage managing the show.
  • Digital covers virtual and hybrid events, live streaming, event websites, event apps and gamification, and animation and graphics. The agency says it recommends platforms to fit each brief rather than one fixed system.
  • Experiential activations covers fabrication, construction, theming, props and talent management.
  • Delegate management covers web registration platforms, payment integration, badges and lanyards, delegate logistics, email communications, on-site registration, real-time tracking, staffing, and feedback and analytics.
  • Event design and styling covers concept development, entertainment, floral and styling, theming and décor, staging and furniture, themed catering and interactive installations.

Sectors and clients

If you run events for a technology company, you can look at recent work for audiences much like yours. The case studies the agency publishes are tagged technology (Nutanix, CrowdStrike and Stripe), health and beauty (Amway) and retail (AF Blakemore), plus an experiential project for Amazon Prime. The agency says some clients have worked with it for close to three decades.

Recent work

The case studies show the agency running large conferences and incentive programmes outside the UK, so you can judge its work abroad as well as in London.

  • CrowdStrike, Amsterdam. For a European conference with more than 2,100 delegates, the agency says it designed the exhibition space and venue branding, planned the breakout sessions, and ran catering, furniture, offsite dinners, hotel rooms and transport for all delegates.
  • Stripe, Dublin. The agency fitted out four floors of Dublin’s Convention Centre for 1,200 employees at one of five hubs linked to a keynote in San Francisco, managing arrivals, production, breakouts, poster showcases and an evening trivia event.
  • Amway, Zurich and Lake Lucerne. A three-day recognition programme included a progressive dinner across four spaces at The Dolder Grand, an awards dinner at Stage One and a 600-drone display on the lake. The agency reports 96% guest satisfaction, 91% finding the event valuable and real-time translation into ten languages.
  • Nutanix, Washington DC. The agency built a closing party for more than 5,000 guests at the end of the .NEXT conference, with three themed areas and street-food stalls.

Other published work includes a four-day activation for Amazon Prime around a London series premiere, which the agency says it delivered with five weeks’ notice, and a conference, trade show and awards dinner for 1,200 people for AF Blakemore’s retail network.

Company

If your organisation reports on event emissions, it helps that the agency says it holds ISO 14001 certification for environmental management and measures event footprints with the TRACE platform from Isla. Its environmental policy commits to halving greenhouse gas emissions from company-owned operations by 2030. Companies House shows Principal Promotions Limited incorporated on 25 April 1994, with a registered office in Chiswick, London W4. The agency gives its working London office as 2 Wilmot Place, NW1 9JS, and a US office on West 5th Street in Austin. In 2026 Great Place To Work named it among the top 30 in its category of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Women. It supports the events industry charity Meeting Needs.

What to ask before you appoint them

  • Will the same team run creative, production and delegate management on your event, or are any of the six services passed to outside partners? The agency says it works with trusted partners on themed design.
  • Which registration platform would you use, and can its payment integration and real-time tracking connect to your CRM?
  • Will you get a TRACE carbon report for your event, and does the ISO 14001 scope, which the policy says covers the London office, extend to on-site delivery?
  • For a US or European event, will the brief be run from London or from the Austin office?
  • Can you see post-event survey results like the figures published for the Zurich programme, and who owns the delegate data afterwards?
