National Museum Cardiff, in the centre of the Welsh capital, offers venue hire for events. It is part of Amgueddfa Cymru, which describes itself as a family of seven national museums across Wales.
Conference and event spaces
It lists its spaces as the Grand Hall, Galleries, Reardon Smith Lecture Theatre and Meeting Rooms. It says it can host conferences of up to 300 people, as well as smaller meetings and team days. Events it caters for include conferences, gala dinners, receptions, weddings, awards, meetings and Christmas parties.
Guests can dine under the Grand Hall’s dome in the evening, and the museum describes its setting as alongside one of Europe’s finest art collections. It also provides catering. As a registered charity, it says income from events supports its exhibition, community and educational work.
