You can take a team of up to 104 out of the office to a Grade I listed house on 80 acres, about five minutes’ drive from the M1, and keep everyone on site overnight. The venue lists 48 bedrooms, free Wi-Fi throughout and, on its fact sheet, free parking. The house was built between 1719 and 1723 and stands at Chicheley, near Newport Pagnell, on the edge of Milton Keynes. The owners who bought it in 2021 say their first aim is weddings, so test your dates early.

Event spaces and capacities

You can run a main session and breakouts without moving delegates off the estate, because the venue advertises nine meeting and training rooms. It publishes measurements for five of them. The largest published meeting layout is 104 theatre style in Wolfson 2, although the same page also says up to 100 delegates. No exhibition floor area is published.

Capacities as published by the venue on its conferences page and, for the Grand Hall, Manor House, Wolfson Suite and marquee, its weddings page, checked 3 November 2026. Those last four are wedding figures. Banquet shows the published rounds figure for the five meeting rooms. A dash means the venue publishes no figure for that layout.

Getting there and parking

Delegates who drive have the simplest journey, with free on-site parking listed on the venue’s fact sheet and electric vehicle charging points on site, according to its contact page. Leave the M1 at junction 14 and take the A509 towards Wellingborough and Kettering. The fact sheet gives about 1 hour 30 minutes by road from London, 63 miles or 1 hour 10 minutes from Birmingham, and 26 miles or 30 minutes from Luton. The venue mentions fast rail links to London Euston but names no station or transfer, and it publishes no parking space count or loading details. For an off-site session, it lists Bletchley Park as 21 minutes from the hotel.

Catering, AV and accommodation

You can keep delegates fed and connected through the day with energy stations serving free-flowing tea, coffee, mineral water, biscuits and fresh fruit, plus free Wi-Fi with a stated maximum bandwidth of 300mb. The venue calls its rooms fully equipped but publishes no AV list. After sessions, delegates can use the restaurant and the Peacock Bar and wine-tasting room, which the venue offers as additions to an event. The hotel has been cash-free since 1 July 2023, so tell delegates to bring a card.

For team building, the venue’s preferred supplier is GOTO Events, which it says offers more than 100 indoor, outdoor and evening experiences. Private Christmas parties run in the main house or the Wolfson Centre, on weekdays with a 60-guest minimum. The accommodation page describes a Honeymoon Suite, 14 Superior rooms in the main house and Guest Rooms in the north and south wings, and offers each room at £99 when you book 10 or more.

What to ask before you book

  • Which are the four meeting rooms missing from the published chart, and which room has the raked seating shown in the conference photos?
  • Will Wolfson 1 suit your session? At 16.92 m by 5.12 m it is more than three times as long as it is wide, so check sight lines from the back row.
  • Is the bedroom total 48, as on the conferences page, or 47, as on the accommodation page? Does the £99 rate apply to corporate groups?
  • Could a wedding affect your dates? The venue says its bedrooms are reserved for the wedding party when it hosts one.
  • Is free parking still current? The fact sheet file was created in 2021, and it gives no space count.
  • What step-free routes reach each room? The site publishes no access details for this Grade I listed house, and our accessibility guide lists what to check.
  • Can a corporate event use the 600-guest marquee option, which the venue describes only for weddings?
