Arts venue on Brighton’s historic Royal Pavilion Estate, hired for conferences, dinners, exhibitions and fairs.
What the venue publishes
Brighton Dome, a registered charity, offers the Concert Hall, Corn Exchange, Studio Theatre, Founders Room and Concert Hall Foyer for hire. It markets conferences and meetings, dinners and social events, exhibitions and fairs, and filming. It says it has been at the heart of the local community for more than 200 years.
The spaces sit on two streets: the Concert Hall, Founders Room and foyer on Church Street (BN1 1UE), and the Corn Exchange and Studio Theatre on New Road (BN1 1UG). The conference page does not publish capacities; the venue offers a brochure and virtual tour on request.
Questions for your brief
- What is the capacity of each space in your layout, from the brochure rather than an estimate?
- If you need spaces on both Church Street and New Road, how will delegates move between them?
- Which public performances or festivals are on around your dates, and how do they affect access?
- Are there restrictions on staging, rigging or catering linked to the historic buildings?
