Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery is a museum and art gallery in Birmingham city centre, run by Birmingham Museums. It is a Victorian landmark building with several event spaces.
Event spaces and hire
It offers its galleries for evening dinners, receptions and standing buffets, as well as corporate events, birthday parties and Christmas parties. Dining takes place in the Tearoom, while the Round Room gallery is used for drinks receptions and buffets. For larger events or formal dining, the adjacent Industrial Gallery, a double height space, can be added. The Tearoom, Industrial Gallery and Round Room can be combined as a suite of galleries.
Venue hire is available from 6pm until 10.30pm, with extensions until 12.30am possible. Equipment hire, musicians and flowers can also be arranged. The museum is a few minutes’ walk from the city’s train stations, and midway between New Street Station and the International Convention Centre and National Indoor Arena.
