Carrow Road seats 500 delegates theatre style in either NR1 or Aria, takes up to 68 exhibition stands in NR1, and sells day delegate packages from £32 a head plus VAT, a 10-minute walk from Norwich station.
What you get at Norwich City’s ground
Norwich City has played at Carrow Road since 1935, and the stadium’s own space guide lists 17 rooms for hire, from a sensory room for 10 to suites for 600 reception guests. That range lets you keep a plenary, breakouts, an exhibition and an evening dinner inside one building. Aria, at the top of the Barclay Stand, and Legends both look over the pitch, and the venue says rooms can be set theatre, cabaret or U-shape, and wi-fi is complimentary throughout. For smaller groups, executive boxes take 2 to 16 meeting guests with pitch views and a mini bar. A duty manager looks after delegates through the day, and the team can add a stadium tour or a team activity with local businesses. There are 200 free parking spaces on site, and an on-site Holiday Inn gives event guests special rates. The venue holds the Green Tourism award.
Day delegate packages
The 2026 to 2027 menus price three packages per person, excluding VAT, with minimum numbers applying. Each includes up to 8 hours of room hire, unlimited tea and coffee, plasma screens and wi-fi.
- Essential, from £32 with biscuits at both breaks and a sandwich and sausage roll lunch.
- Classic, from £38 adding morning pastries, afternoon cakes, a flipchart, a PA system and microphones.
- Vitality, from £40 with energy bars, fruit, banana bread and a soup and salad lunch.
Catering is in-house only, so outside caterers and your own food are not allowed, though a food truck can be arranged for The Lion and Castle. The kitchen cooks Halal chicken.

Capacities as published by the venue. Source: carrowroad.co.uk (nr1, aria, the lion and castle, legends, criterion bar, club 101).
NR1 has 617 m², purpose-built AV and two bars, and holds 600 for a reception, 450 for dinner or 68 stands. Aria offers 589 m² with pitch views for the same numbers and 64 stands. The Lion and Castle is the largest floor at 676 m², set up for 600 informal guests or 100 theatre style with room for more than 50 stands, while Legends adds 272 m² and 25 stands. For exhibitions the team also uses the concourses, outside areas and rooms in tandem, and plans a floor plan around your event. Past shows it names include food and drink festivals, trading card events and product launches.
Getting there and access
From Norwich station, turn left and follow Koblenz Avenue until you see the Barclay Stand. Drivers come in on the A47, A11 and A140. Parking is first come, first served, with accessible bays outside the South Stand. Rooms are served by lifts and accessible toilets, guide and assistance dogs are welcome, and the stadium publishes an access guide. Before you book, our guide to checking venue accessibility lists what to ask.
How it compares
Among other Norwich conference venues, the Norfolk Showground and Events Centre suits a bigger exhibition with over 3,000 m² of pillar-free floor off the A47, The Halls gives you a Grade I listed medieval setting 950 metres from the station, and The Assembly House has 15 bedrooms and dinners for up to 152. Further afield in our stadium and sports venues, the King Power Stadium hires rooms for 12 to 650. You can compare more conference and exhibition venues across the United Kingdom, and our guide on choosing a venue around the event explains why the layout matters more than the headline capacity.
