The National Railway Museum, part of the Science Museum Group, is on Leeman Rd in York. It offers spaces for evening events and conferences.
What the venue publishes
The Great Hall, which displays locomotives including Mallard, is suitable for receptions of up to 1000 guests. Station Hall, a platform setting with a collection of Royal Carriages, caters for award ceremonies and gala dinners of up to 450 guests.
The conference centre has two fully equipped rooms that can be joined together to host up to 100 delegates, with adjoining breakout areas. The museum says it is adapting its event offering to the spaces available while its masterplan work is underway. It is an MIA accredited venue.
