The Assembly Rooms is a historic venue on Fenkle St in Newcastle upon Tyne, which it describes as Newcastle’s historic home of culture since 1776. It hosts conferences, awards evenings, private celebrations, performances and corporate meetings.
Conference and meeting spaces
It lists six spaces for hire: the Conference Suite, Dickens Suite, Falstaff Bar, Wedgewood, Regency Suite and Chandelier Suite. It says its rooms range from grand suites with high ceilings and period detail to more intimate rooms suited to smaller gatherings and rehearsals.
The venue says its team works with clients on the layout, technical setup and schedule. Catering, AV hire and stage setup are offered as options, and a brochure is available to download. The building opened in 1776 and is marking its 250th anniversary.
