You can keep a training course, a board meeting and an overnight stay under one roof here, with six function rooms, 51 bedrooms and a published day delegate rate of £45, so the costs are clear before you ask for a quote. The hotel says its largest room seats 250 theatre style, and its grounds back onto the Ouzel Valley Park if you want space outside for team exercises. The Woughton House is a Georgian manor on Newport Road in Woughton on the Green, about a 10 minute drive from central Milton Keynes by the hotel’s own reckoning. It was built in 1813, remodelled in 1845 and has traded as a hotel since 1983.
Event spaces and capacities
You get a choice of six rooms, from the Birch Room for a 14-seat boardroom up to the Clubhouse Suite, which the hotel lists at 250 theatre style, 200 standing and 120 for a seated dinner. The Orchard Suite and Oak Suite each take 150 theatre style, so you can run a plenary and a separate dinner without turning one room round. The hotel does not publish floor areas, and it lists trade exhibitions and product launches among the events it hosts but gives no exhibition floor figure.

The same chart gives boardroom and U-shape figures: Clubhouse Suite 65 and 50, Orchard Suite 40 and 30, Oak Room 14 and 6, Birch Room 14 and 6, Willow Room 20 and 25. It also lists approximate room hire of £850 for the Clubhouse Suite, £450 each for the Orchard and Oak Suites, £350 each for the Oak and Birch Rooms and £250 for the Willow Room. Capacities as published by the venue on its meetings and events page, checked 5 November 2026.
Getting there and parking
Delegates driving in from the M1 have a short final leg: the hotel puts junctions 13 and 14 within 5 to 10 minutes, and car parking is included in its day delegate rate. It gives Milton Keynes station as 3 miles away, Luton Airport as 30 minutes and Heathrow as about an hour. The hotel names St Mary’s Church next door as the landmark to look for on Newport Road (MK6 3LR). It does not say how many parking spaces there are, whether there is EV charging or what loading access exists for exhibition stands.
Catering, AV and accommodation
The day delegate rate saves you pricing each element separately. The hotel says the £45 package covers the main room, three tea and coffee breaks with biscuits, pastries or cakes, a buffet lunch, an LCD projector and screen, stationery, water and sweets, wifi and parking. Its 24 hour rate of £175 adds a buffet breakfast in Seasons Restaurant, a dinner allowance against the à la carte menu and a night in one of the 51 bedrooms. Catering is by the hotel’s own kitchen. Seasons Restaurant serves dinner from 6.30pm with last orders at 8.45pm, and the lounge bar is open 11am to 11pm every day. The hotel also lists photocopying and natural daylight in its meeting rooms, offers in-room dining for residential groups, and says bedrooms include an accessible room and interconnecting rooms, with air conditioning in some rooms only.
What to ask before you book
- The hire figures are marked approximate. Ask for a fixed price for your dates and whether the £45 and £175 rates still apply.
- No floor areas are published. If you plan a product launch or stands in the Clubhouse Suite, ask for a floor plan with dimensions and the access route for kit.
- The Oak Suite and Oak Room share a name. Check whether they combine or sit side by side, and whether noise carries between them.
- Only some bedrooms have air conditioning. If your group stays in summer, ask which rooms do and whether you can reserve them.
- The accessibility statement page on the hotel’s site is blank. Ask about step-free routes to each function room, accessible toilets and the number of accessible bedrooms.
- Dinner last orders are 8.45pm. If your programme runs late, ask how the dinner allowance in the 24 hour rate works for a private group meal.
