What the venue publishes
Glasgow Science Centre is an independent Scottish charity and says event bookings support its science engagement work. Its event spaces page lists 13 spaces. The largest are the Atrium and Floor One, each listed at 500, Floor Two at 450 and the Clyde Suite at 400 for exhibitions.
For conference sessions it lists the IMAX Cinema at 370, Tower Gallery South and The Hive at 200 each, Tower Gallery North at 150, the Planetarium at 115 and the Science Show Theatre at 110. The centre sets a minimum of 60 people for day conferences and 100 for evening events such as award ceremonies and drinks receptions.
It says events come with a dedicated events team, in-house catering and AV, complimentary Wi-Fi and car parking, and that guests can use more than 300 interactive exhibits during an event.
