What was announced
Media 10 will run UK Construction Week London 2027 as one event made up of nine specialist shows, on 11–13 May 2027 at Excel London. The organiser announced the format on 19 October 2026, and the show’s own website now lists the nine: Futurebuild, National Retrofit Conference & Expo, Urban Environment, Onsite On Hire, Building Safety, Digitalisation + AI, Business of Construction, MMC+ and Stone & Surfaces Show.
The website promotes more than 20,700 construction professionals, 600 exhibiting brands, more than 650 speakers and more than 90 industry partners. These are the organiser’s promotional figures for an edition that has not yet taken place. Opening hours are 10:00–17:00 on the first two days and 10:00–16:00 on the last.
How the event got here
According to Exhibition News, Media 10 bought Futurebuild from Easyfairs in January 2026 and ran it alongside UK Construction Week London for the first time that May, together with the newly acquired Stone & Surfaces Show. Exhibition News reports that most of the five strands added for 2027 are newly created rather than acquired. It quotes Martin Hurn, UKCW London’s editorial director, as saying the show is about “bringing the full breadth of the construction industry together in one superevent, while giving each specialist sector a clear identity and a stronger voice”.
What it means for organisers and exhibitors
Events Review’s reading, not a statement from Media 10, is that this is another case of a UK organiser grouping specialist shows under one large brand on the same dates and in the same hall, rather than running them as separate events. For exhibitors, the practical questions are which of the nine shows a stand is sold under, how visitors move between the zones, and whether visitor numbers and data are reported per show or for the event as a whole.
Excel London is also where London Build moves for its 25–26 November 2026 edition, co-located with elementalLONDON.
