What the venue publishes
Celtic Manor Resort lists 332 bedrooms, 40 meeting rooms, three large event spaces, six restaurants and five bars, three golf courses and a health club and spa on a 2,000-acre estate. It describes itself as MIA-accredited and ISO-certified.
Its meetings facilities were renamed the Ian Edwards Conference Centre after the resort’s former chief executive, who died in October 2024. The three-storey centre includes an Exhibition Hall, the Caernarfon Ballroom for up to 1,200 people and 24 syndicate and meeting rooms with breakout areas. The resort markets banqueting for up to 900 and smaller meeting rooms for 8 to 150, plus unique spaces such as the Chairman’s Marquee, the Samuel Ryder Suite, rooftop terraces and its Hunter Lodges.
The resort says it was named Best UK Hotel at the M&IT Industry Awards in 2026 and has won that title twelve times. It hosted the Wales Investment Summit 2025 as headquarters for the Welsh Government, which it describes as the largest business event held in Wales, with 350 delegates from 29 countries. It is just off the M4, and the venue puts it 90 minutes from London Heathrow.
