You can run a dinner for 300, a 120-seat theatre session and several breakouts under one roof in south Leeds, with in-house chefs and a single events team handling the booking. Elland Road is the home ground of Leeds United, a short drive from the M621, and the club hires out the Centenary Pavilion, five refurbished lounges and 40 executive boxes for conferences, AGMs, training days, product launches and dinners. The boxes can work as syndicate rooms for breakout sessions, the club says.
Event spaces and capacities
The club lists five named spaces. The largest layout figure it publishes is 300 for dinner in the Hisense Lounge, which is 29.9 m long and 13.8 m wide. The Centenary Pavilion is its purpose-built conference and events hall, with two bars, a starlit ceiling and the option to split it into two separate spaces, but its page gives no layout capacities. A 2023 club post said the Pavilion held public Christmas parties for up to 1,000 guests, so ask for current figures for your layout. No room areas are published, and no exhibition floor area is given.

Capacities as published by the venue on its spaces page and each room’s own page, checked 5 November 2026. Dinner dance figures are 260 in the Hisense Lounge, 110 in the Gary Speed Suite and 80 in the Peter Lorimer Suite.
Each room suits a different brief. The Hisense Lounge gives you a media wall across the room, a PA, blackout and natural daylight, air conditioning and three-phase power, which helps if you are bringing in staging or lighting. The club lists car launches among the uses for the Centenary Pavilion. The Gary Speed Suite on level 3 of the East Stand and the Peter Lorimer Suite both have their own toilets and easy access to the boxes for breakouts. The Peter Lorimer Suite also has an open plan kitchen. The 1919 has floor-to-ceiling windows looking towards Leeds city centre.
Getting there and parking
Drivers save time because the ground sits beside the M621. From the M1 or the south, the club directs you to M621 junction 1 and the A6110 ring road onto Elland Road (A643); from the M62, leave at junction 27 and take the M621 to junction 1 or 2. Leeds railway station is about 2 miles away, which the club puts at a 35 to 40 minute walk. First Bus services 51 and 52 from Corn Exchange (stop D, Vicar Lane) and 55 and 55C from City Square (stop G, Park Row) run along Elland Road. The club does not publish parking terms for non-matchday events. On home matchdays it runs the council car parks itself, every space must be booked in advance at £13, and it says 1,856 spaces are currently available while stadium redevelopment works are under way.
For access, the club’s statement lists step-free access in key areas, accessible toilets across the ground and a Changing Places facility. Lifts serve the East Stand upper tier.
Catering, AV and accommodation
You deal with one kitchen rather than outside caterers: the club says its in-house chefs create the menus and can cater for dietary requirements. Its 2026 Christmas brochure prices private-party menus at £30 a head for a buffet and £42 for a three-course sit-down meal, including VAT. For presentations, the Gary Speed Suite has integrated AV and presentation kit, the Peter Lorimer Suite and The 1919 have plasma screens, and every suite has its own private bar and Wi-Fi. The club does not list bedrooms, so book hotels in the city for overnight guests.
What to ask before you book
- Your date against the fixture list. The club’s own brochure warns that football fixtures can move bookings, so ask what happens if a home match is scheduled on your day.
- Seated, standing and exhibition figures for the Centenary Pavilion in full and when split in two, plus floor loading and vehicle access if you plan a car or product launch.
- How many cars can park on site on your date, at what charge, and which car park your delegates should use while the stadium redevelopment works continue.
- Whether The 1919 has a theatre figure and how many executive boxes you can hold as breakout rooms next to the Gary Speed or Peter Lorimer Suite.
- A day delegate rate, since the club does not publish one, and what AV in the Hisense Lounge is included in the room hire.
